Sharpen Your Mind. Protect Your Brain.
Mental Master is a precision-crafted liquid herbal formula designed to enhance cognitive function, improve memory and concentration, and protect the brain from age-related decline. By targeting cerebral circulation, neurotransmitter activity, and oxidative stress simultaneously, this formula addresses the underlying vascular and neurological mechanisms behind mental fog, fatigue, and cognitive deterioration.
Mental Master does not work overnight — it is best used consistently for at least 2 weeks, and can be continued as a long-term tonic, especially for the elderly.

How It Works — Ingredient Profiles
Ginkgo Leaf (Ginkgo biloba)
Ginkgo is the cornerstone of this formula and one of the most extensively researched herbs for brain health. It works primarily by increasing blood flow into the head, brain, and body — and critically, by facilitating the movement of blood and nutrients across the blood-brain barrier. As we age, cerebral and peripheral circulation naturally declines, leading to symptoms including vertigo, tinnitus, forgetfulness, Alzheimer’s-like symptoms, and depression. Ginkgo can be a powerful “wake-up call” for those experiencing this vascular system dysfunction. It works best when a cerebrovascular insufficiency component is present, particularly in the elderly. Note: Ginkgo may aggravate a small number of cerebral vascular constrictive-type headaches in sensitive individuals.
Gotu Kola Leaf (Centella asiatica)
Gotu Kola reduces adrenal corticosterone blood levels during stress, making it a valuable adaptogen for the brain under pressure. Rich in flavonoids, clinical studies demonstrate its ability to reduce capillary fragility and strengthen vascular integrity throughout the brain and body. It is a cognitive-stimulating herb indicated for fatigue, confusion, and general lethargy — particularly helpful for those exhausted from emotional upheaval or excessive work demands.
Rhodiola Root Extract (Rhodiola rosea)
Rhodiola stimulates the activity of serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine in the cerebral cortex, brain stem, and hypothalamus. It also increases the permeability of the blood-brain barrier to the precursors of these neurotransmitters, amplifying their effects on the brain. This translates to measurable improvements in cognitive functions — thinking, analyzing, evaluating, calculating, and planning — as well as learning, attention span, memory, and work productivity. Rhodiola also relieves fatigue, normalizes the nervous system from oxidative damage, and can produce both immediate and long-term cognitive benefits.
Codonopsis Root (Codonopsis pilosula)
Often called “poor man’s ginseng,” Codonopsis is very similar to Ginseng in action but milder and more neutral in energy — making it suitable for long-term use and for those sensitive to stimulating herbs. It increases stamina and alertness and keeps the body and mind strong under stress, providing a grounding foundation for the more stimulating herbs in this formula.
Licorice Root (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
Licorice functions as a limbic (emotional) brain tonic and tonifies the stress axis — the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. Researchers have identified a compound in Licorice known as carbenoxolone that inhibits an enzyme in the brain involved in producing stress-related hormones, which have been associated with age-related mental decline. Licorice also acts as a synergist, enhancing the bioavailability and action of the other herbs in the formula.
Indications
- Age-related cognitive decline and early dementia
- Poor memory, concentration, and mental clarity
- ADHD/ADD — supports attention, focus, and the ability to process and retain information
- Cerebrovascular insufficiency — reduced blood flow to the brain
- Vertigo and dizziness of vascular origin
- Tinnitus (ringing in the ears) related to poor circulation
- Depression in the elderly, particularly where vascular factors are present
- Mental fatigue from overwork, stress, or emotional exhaustion
- Peripheral vascular disease and poor circulation to the extremities
- Students and high-performers seeking sustained cognitive enhancement
Contraindications
- Blood-thinning medications (e.g., warfarin, aspirin, clopidogrel) — Ginkgo has mild antiplatelet activity; use with caution and consult a prescribing physician before combining
- Anticoagulant or antiplatelet therapy — same caution as above; monitor closely
- Hypertension — Licorice Root may elevate blood pressure with prolonged use; use with caution or avoid
- Hormone-sensitive conditions — Licorice has mild estrogenic activity
- Epilepsy or seizure disorders — consult a practitioner before use
- Cerebral vascular constrictive headaches — Ginkgo may aggravate this specific headache type in a small number of individuals; discontinue if headaches worsen
- Avoid during pregnancy — several herbs in this formula are not recommended during pregnancy
Cautions
- Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if pregnant or breastfeeding
- Discontinue use at least 2 weeks prior to surgery due to mild blood-thinning effects
- Not a replacement for prescribed medications for dementia, ADHD, or vascular disease — use as a complementary support
- May interact with MAOIs, SSRIs, or other psychiatric medications — consult a practitioner
- Allow at least 2 weeks of consistent use before evaluating results; long-term use is appropriate and encouraged for the elderly
- Discontinue use and consult a practitioner if symptoms worsen or new symptoms arise
Dosage
General Use:
30 drops in juice or water, 1–3 times daily, or as needed.
For cognitive enhancement and memory support, take consistently for a minimum of 2 weeks before assessing results. Mental Master is well-suited for long-term tonic use, particularly in older adults. Effects are cumulative — the longer and more consistently it is used, the more pronounced the benefits.

Taste Profile
Rich and complex — slightly bitter and earthy from the Ginkgo and Rhodiola, with a smooth sweetness from the Licorice Root that rounds out the formula. The Gotu Kola adds a mild green, grassy note. Best taken in apple juice or a mild herbal tea to complement the depth of the herbal base.
